Loughborough, UK – Dignitaries gathered at the University of Loughborough today to celebrate the graduation of Mr. Ayokanmi Olaifa, the grandnephew of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The event was attended by Hon. Olumide Jones, an aspirant for the Ogun Central Senatorial seat in the 2023 general elections, who is also the godfather of the graduate.
Hon. Jones was visibly joyful, stating that he was proud of the graduate, who he considers like a son.
According to Hon. Jones “I’m here today as a proud godfather and representative of former President Obasanjo, whose grandnephew is the graduate,”
“It’s a day of joy for all of us, and we’re thrilled to see the graduate achieve this milestone.”
Jones also expressed his happiness on behalf of the former president, who was unable to attend the event. “As a grandnephew of the former president, this graduation is a testament to the family’s legacy of excellence,” he concluded.
