A manufacturing firm, JOSIEN Complex, located at Abule Osun, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, Ojo, Lagos, was gutted by fire in the early hours of Friday. The fire destroyed property worth millions of naira.
Emergency responders, including men of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), and Nigeria Police, are currently battling to put out the raging fire and conducting a rescue mission.
As of 11 am, there was no record of death or injury in the incident. The Permanent Secretary of LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, confirmed that the situation has been brought under control.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and further details are expected to be released later.
