The wife of the General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC), Rev. Fola Achudume, has passed away. The news of her sudden death was announced by VLBC Assistant General Overseer, Pastor Adeoye Adeyanju, during Sunday service in Abeokuta.
According to Pastor Adeyanju, Rev. Fola Achudume died in the early hours of Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was 55 years old and would have turned 56 on September 6.
The Church issued a statement on its Facebook page, saying that the demise of Achudume was with a heavy heart and gratitude to God. The statement described her as a teacher, prophet, pastor, mentor, role model, and mother who touched countless lives and inspired many to grow in their faith.
The family of Victory Life Bible Church and all her children all over the world have expressed their appreciation to God for her impactful life and will continue to remember her legacy of faith, prayer, and steadfastness.
Reacting to the news, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Tunde Oladunjoye, described the transition of Achudume as the worst news of the year. He said that he was close to the family and was on his way to their house to register his condolence.
