The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has expressed deep condolences to the family of Pastor Lawrence Achudume on the passing of his wife, Rev. Fola Achudume.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson, Sekinat Salam, and the Secretary, Omobolaji Adekunle, NAWOJ described Rev. Achudume as a woman who lived a fulfilled life, filled with love, kindness, and passion for building and sustaining many families.
“Rev. Mrs Fola Achudume was a shining example of a devoted servant of God, whose impact will be deeply felt by many families and individuals who benefited from her mentorship and support,” the statement read.
NAWOJ praised Rev. Achudume’s selflessness and dedication to helping others, saying her legacy would live on through the countless lives she touched.
The association prayed for the repose of her soul and asked God to grant the Achudume family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
“We stand with the Achudume family in this trying moment of grief and pray that God comforts them and gives them the grace to bear this huge loss,” the statement concluded.
