The councillor representing Ward 14, Abeokuta South, Hon. Ismail Soyoye has declared his re-elction ambition into the local government legislative house under the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2024 local government elections in Ogun State.
Speaking with constituents yesterday, Hon. Soyoye promised to continue the qualitative representation that he has been known for. He said that formulating people-oriented policies to benefit constituents has always been the motivating factor behind his ambition.
In his words, “Ward 14 has experienced a next level representation 2021, and this was made possible by our Party, our leaders, and you – the constituents for your vote of confidence, trust, and for always believing in me to do as I have promised.
“Today, I present myself to you once again, as i did three years ago. As you know, I have given so much in represention of you, but there’s still so much to be done, and I’m ready to do more than i have done during the first term.
“Governance is a huge responsibility, and I promise to tirelessly continue with the good work that you have been experiencing since my assumption to office towards achieving our goals for a greater Ward 14.
In conclusion, he added that Abeokuta South LG has always distinguished itself through the quality of leaders it produces, and that he believes that the same thing will reflect in the choice of the people at the forthcoming election.
