In a move aimed at strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North local government of Ogun State, Oluwakayode Samson Adedeji has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Councillor in Ward (11) Totoro/Sokori District, under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The declaration was made today while presenting a letter of intent to the leadership of Ward (11) which had in attendance the Ward Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer amongst others in the ward.

Oluwakayode was accompanied by Alhaji Semiu Adelowo, Hon. Ranti Oyewole, former councillor from ward 11, Abeokuta North, Hon. Muidu Bolomope, former leader of the house, Odeda Local Government, Hon. Jimoh Fadipe, Mr. Muritala Ashimolowo, Mr. Kamilu Adelanwa, Mr. Abolore Arogundade amongst others.
Oluwakayode, a prominent member of the APC, expressed his desire to offer his services to the community, having consulted with leaders, elders, friends, and relatives.

He assured that he meets all the necessary qualifications and is physically and mentally fit to represent the party in the upcoming Local Government Elections.
The Councillorship aspirant also commended the unwavering support of all the party members and leaders for the progress of the party, therefore promised not to fail them and trust him with their support.
Oluwakayode pledged to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the electoral process and conduct his campaign with integrity and transparency.
According to the letter of intent presented to the ward (11) for declaration said “I, Oluwakayode Samson Adedeji [Kaysmall] of Ward Eleven [11], Totoro/Sokori, Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State, write to formally make my intentions known as I will be running for the position of Councillor in Ward Eleven [11] Totoro/Sokori District of our great party, All Progressive Congress [APC].
After so much deliberation and consultation with leaders, elders, friends and relatives, I have decided to meet all the ward members in a meeting to express my intentions to offer my services to the community.

Having examine all the requirements/criteria for nomination under the party constitution. I am both physically and mentally fit as well as credible enough to fly the flag of the party in the coming Local Government Elections.
I promise to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the electoral process of the party, Olukayode concluded.
In their separate remarks, the ward leaders, in their advice, urged Olukayode to always put the interest of the community first and work towards creating a better future for all, therefore prayed for his success and pledged their support for his aspiration.
