Hungry Nigerians Will Vote Out President Tinubu in 2027, APC Chieftain, Eze

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has warned that Nigerians will vote out President Bola Tinubu in 2027 due to the country’s collapse under his watch. Eze, a political ally of former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, stated that the administration’s ineptitude, policy inconsistencies, and corruption have led to hyper-unemployment, insecurity, and food price hikes, which will ultimately lead to Tinubu’s ouster.

Eze was reacting to a statement by Rivers state APC caretaker committee chairman, Chief Tony Okocha, who accused Amaechi of planning to use the Rivers APC Chairman, Chief Emeka Beke, to fight Tinubu in 2027. Eze denied the claim, saying Amaechi has never struggled for power and is not interested in fighting Tinubu.

He reminded that the judgment of the State High Court in Port Harcourt, which reinstated the elected party officials, was comprehensive and left no room for appeal. Eze emphasized that the court’s decision was clear on the unlawful appointment of Okocha and his collaborators, and the violation of the party’s Constitution.

Eze cautioned against smear campaigns and defamatory insinuations against Amaechi, stating that he has never sought power and is focused on serving the people. He emphasized that the true leader of APC in Rivers state and the South-South is evident, referencing the party’s formation, where Tinubu was made National Leader, and Amaechi emerged as South-South leader.
