President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that better days are ahead, urging them to believe in the nation’s promise and work collaboratively towards building a brighter future.
In his national broadcast on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Tinubu emphasized the resilience and tenacity of Nigerians, saying, “Fellow Nigerians, better days are ahead of us. The challenges of the moment must always make us believe in ourselves. We are Nigerians—resilient and tenacious. We always prevail and rise above our circumstances.”
He called on Nigerians to join his administration in shaping their destiny and building a future where every citizen has access to opportunities and every child can grow up with hope and promise.
Tinubu also reported progress in the fight against terrorism and banditry, stating that over 300 Boko Haram and bandit commanders have been eliminated.
This comes as part of his administration’s efforts to cultivate a Nigeria that reflects the aspirations of all its citizens, resonating with pride, dignity, and shared success.
To achieve this, Tinubu emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts, saying, “Please join our administration in this journey towards a brighter future. Let us work together to build a greater Nigeria…”
