NNPP Chieftain, Abioro Calls For Harmony In Music Industry

Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Honourable Damilare Abioro, has asked musicians in Nigeria to embrace peace instead of fighting.

According to him, entertainers all over the world remain role models to younger generations who emulate them in all their actions and deeds.

Abioro, made the call in a chat with Fuji Icon, Alhaji Sule Alao Malaika, during the burial ceremony of Late Chief Asamosese Felicia Omolaso, the mother of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Finar Hotel and Resort, Mr Ibrahim Kilanko Olalowo.

The politician explained that the musicians regardless of the genres of music they are into should allow the healthy rivalry among them to lead to chaos.

He added that the stakeholders including the old musicians and their supporters should continue to nurture the relative peace being enjoyed in the music industry in the country.

According to him, the ongoing misunderstanding among the top musicians both in the fuji and hip-hop, especially among the popular artistes in the country must not be allowed to escalate beyond the current situation.

“musicians must realise their roles in the society and this will guide their conducts and lifestyles, especially to the younger generations which are looking up to them” the politician stated.

“the current misunderstanding ongoing between top artistes in the fuji and hip-hop sectors of the entertainment industry, must be allowed to fester beyond its current levels” he added.

“I want to appeal to the stakeholders, especially the older musicians to prevail over the younger musicians among them while the fans must also stop fuelling the crisis, for the good of all” the Agosasa born politician concluded.

Abioro, however, thanked God for the celebration of life well spent by the late Mrs Omolaso and the great impact the family has on the late father, Hodonu Abioro. and the entire family while promising that both families will sustain the bond that existed between them.
