Hon. Avoseh Seeks Harmonious Relationship Between Legislative, Executive Council As 9th Legislative Council Inaugurated 

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh a.k.a Cornerstone has called for a harmonious relationship between the Legislative Council and Executive Council.

Hon. Avoseh, made this call today during the proclamation address he delivered at the inauguration of the 9th Legislative Council of Ipokia Local Government, held at the Legislative Chember, Ipokia, local government of the state.

The newly-elected Chairman charged the two arms to serve diligently and with utmost sincerity while congratulating the Honourable Councillors on their success at the last Local Government polls.

He equally charged the honourable House to evolve bye- Laws that will bring succour and development to the life of ordinary citizens of the Local Government.

In his Inaugural speech, the newly elected Leader of the 9th Legislature, Hon. Adeyanju Akeem Alamu, from Ifonyintedo Ward, has disclosed that the newly Inaugurated 9th Legislature is poised to work with the Executive arm and the Local Government Staff on a common front for the development of Ipokia Local Government.

He appreciated his colleagues on the confidence reposed on him and for making the election of the principal officers of the House hitch- free.

He further thanked them for the maturity and understanding displayed, charged them to continue in that manner.

The following Honourable members emerged as the principal officers of the House are as follow: Hon. Nudamojo Monday Doheto, Deputy Leader, from Tube Ward, Hon. Akala Sherrif Opeyemi, Majority Leader, from Ipokia Ward 2, while Hon. Balogun Daniel Olawale from Ihunbo/Ilase is the Chief Whip

Mr. S. A. Solana, Chief Magistrate with Ogun State Judiciary administered Oath of office on the new Legislative Council members.

In her welcome address, the clerk of the Legislative Council Mrs Adegbenro Basirat Adedoyin charged the Honourable Councillors to engaged in sound and solid Legislation that will better the lives of the teeming public of Ipokia Local Government.

She remarks, that this is the way they can reciprocate the overwhelming support of the electorates that was given during the last polls.

She also educates the house on their responsibilities enjoined them to be hard working, dedicated and eschew all forms of fighting, backbiting, destructive criticisms and self interest in order not to act at the detriment of the masses.
