Former Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government , Honourable Tunji Omolewu, has asked Nigerians not to lose hope over the current situation in the country.

Instead, the Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) asked the religious bodies, especially Christians to continue praying to God for divine turnaround and restoration of the country.

Omolewu, in his Christmas message, said the current challenges facing Nigeria is surmountable.

The politician popularly known as Jabele, explained while the government at all levels are working round the clock to fix the country, Nigerians must give their maximum support.

He added that though there is hardship situation in the country, Nigerians must not allow the situation to bring them down because the country will rise again.

According to him, loving one’s nation requires a lot of sacrifice and commitment in prayers and other patriotic acts.

“I want to use this season of Christmas which represents the restoration of mankind to bring the message of hope to our people that the current economic situation in Nigeria will soon be over”Jabele assured.

“Instead of complaining or murmuring we should pray to God Almighty who has everything in control to shower his blessing upon Nigeria our beloved Country for total restoration” he admonished.

“Nigeria belongs to us and we belong to Nigeria, we have total authority to determine what we want and God will always make our request count because he has done through the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who came to restore mankind” Omolewu added.

“So, it is my candid advice that we celebrate in moderation and extend love and kindness to less privileges in our society as we celebrate the yuletide season ” the politician concluded.

Omolewu, however, asked Nigerians to believe in APC to turn around the country to its rightful position among the comity of nations, while asking electorates to ensure return of party to power in Oyo State in 2027 for more dividend of democracy as a pacesetter state cannot afford to remain in opposition.
