The Yoruba Afenifere Youths Organization of Nigeria (YAYON) has commended the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Ayodele Olawande, for his proactive step towards youth engagement through the announcement of the soon-to-be-launched Registration Portal for the National Youth Summit.
The Yoruba Youths group also hailed President Tinubu’s leadership for having the youths at heart.
A statement issued by the YAYON President and National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Eric Oluwole and Comrade Saheed Adeola said the creation of the Portal will not only facilitate inclusive participation of young Nigerians across all geopolitical zones, but also strengthen national unity and youth involvement in shaping policy and governance.
The statement said “The proposed 30-day summit represents a bold and visionary approach to youth dialogue and development, and we are particularly encouraged by the Minister’s commitment to implementing the summit’s resolutions through legislative and administrative means.
“YAYON believes that the future of Nigeria lies in the hands of its vibrant youth, and it is through such structured and inclusive platforms that we can build the leadership and innovation Nigeria needs.”
“We applaud the Honourable Minister for the ongoing planning and coordination.
“As a youth-led organization committed to empowering the next generation of African leaders, YAYON pledges its support and looks forward to partnering with relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of this landmark summit.
