Spanish LaLiga side, Real Betis, have opened negotiations with Italian giants AC Milan over the potential signing of Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze.
According to National Reports, the Andalusian club is looking to reinforce its attacking options following the departure of Brazilian winger Antony, who returned to his parent club, Manchester United, after a loan spell.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 for a reported fee of €21.1 million. However, the 26-year-old has struggled to establish himself at the San Siro, managing just eight goals and eight assists in 69 appearances for the Rossoneri.
Real Betis sees Chukwueze as an ideal replacement and a valuable addition to bolster their wing play ahead of the new season.
Negotiations between both clubs are ongoing, and further developments are expected in the coming days.
