Biography of Iroko Evenase Friday

Early Life and Background

Iroko Evenase Friday was born on June 24, 1988, to Mr. Paul Yedenu Whusuvu and Mrs. Mary Whusuvu in Ago Egun, Ago Agosasa, located in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. Both of his parents are of Egun descent. His mother, Mrs. Mary Whusuvu, hails from Avrankou Houèzè in the Republic of Benin, while his father is a native of Ago Egun, Agosasa, in Nigeria.

Raised in a Christian home, Evenase Friday grew up immersed in a multilingual and multicultural environment. He is fluent in Egun, Yoruba, English, and French—skills developed through his dual citizenship and diverse heritage.

Education and Skills Acquisition

Evenase began his academic journey at Ipokia Local Government School (IPLG), Idabata Idotun, where he completed his primary education between 1997 and 2003. He proceeded to Agosasa Community High School, Agosasa, where he earned his secondary school certificate from 2003 to 2009.

While still in secondary school, he began learning fashion design at Eace Appare Unisex Outfit from 2005 to 2011. He later advanced his skills in computer desktop publishing at Obasoft Computers on December 20, 2012.

Entrepreneurial Journey

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, Evenase underwent trade and business training with Holiness Garden Investment Limited after working with various organizations. He successfully completed the program on December 17, 2023.

Today, he is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Iroko Heritage Global Services—a thriving company that specializes in import and export, haulage and logistics, transportation of goods and services, and international trade in commodities such as soya beans, cocoa, and cashew. The company also ventures into other sectors, including:

Cash crop and livestock farming

Hotel and hospitality management

Visa processing and travel consultancy

Personal Life

Iroko Evenase Friday is happily married and blessed with children. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, reading newspapers, listening to the news, and watching football and other sports.
