A seasoned lawmaker and lawyer, Solomon Oluwaseyi Lambo Osho has thrown his hat into the ring, vying for the National Assembly seat representing Remo Federal Constituency in the August by-election.
In a statement obtained by our correspondent, Hon. Osho expressed his interest and confidence in his ability to effectively represent the constituency, with his extensive experience as a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly (2019-2023) and Leader/Councilor of the Remo North Legislative Council (2012-2015).
The statement reads “I, Solomon Osho, have been prepared in the most profound ways for the task ahead, and I will be ready from day one if you support and elect me as your Representative at the National Assembly.”
“The legislative job is not for the faint-hearted, but requires someone with enough legislative experience and legal acumen. I am tested and trusted— my antecedents as a seasoned lawmaker and lawyer speak for me. We do not need a “trial and error” representative at this point in time.”
“Let me remind you of the words of Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who said: “You cannot wish this country {Remo Federal Constituency} well and vote for someone you do not believe in.” With what I have done in the past, you know you can always believe in me.”
“Remo of our late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Professor Yemi Osinbajo & HRM Babatunde Ajayi, deserves a young and experienced professional like myself to represent us at this crucial and sensitive period.”
“As a bonafide son of Remo— my father is from Isale-Agbowa in Makun, Sagamu, while my mother is from Isara-Remo, I will represent you well by God’s grace.”
Our correspondent gathered that the INEC has just declared August 16th, 2025 for the By-election.
