Veteran Nigerian Afrobeats star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has dismissed rumours suggesting he is financially broke.
The award-winning singer addressed the speculation during a recent appearance on the +234 Mzansi Podcast, which is co-hosted by popular actor and media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu.
Responding to the claims, 2Baba insisted that he is financially stable, revealing that he had made wise investments with the money he earned from music.
“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” the African Queen crooner stated confidently.
2Baba is widely regarded as one of the most successful and influential musicians in Nigeria and Africa. Over the years, he has diversified his income by investing in various sectors including real estate, a record label, and the hospitality industry.
