Afrobeats singer Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has declared himself the greatest musician of his generation.
The Soso hitmaker, however, admitted that he does not have proof at the moment but expressed confidence that there would be plenty of evidence in the future.
Writing on his X handle, Omah Lay said:
“Hi guys! My name is Omah Lay and I am the greatest of my generation. I don’t have proofs right now but there will be a lot in the future.
“Thanks. Yours truly, Boy Alone.”
This is not the first time Omah Lay has publicly spoken about his belief in his potential.
Last year, the singer said he was going to be one of the leading voices of the new generation of Afrobeats artistes.
During an interview with The Beat FM, London, Omah Lay stated that he had created a “new sound,” which he hopes to popularise.
