Former Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey, has been charged with five counts of rape.
Partey, who became a free agent this week after the expiration of his contract with the Gunners, now faces serious legal troubles.
The 32-year-old has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
According to reports, two of the rape charges involve one woman, while three others relate to a second woman. The sexual assault charge involves a third woman.
The alleged incidents reportedly occurred between 2021 and 2022.
Partey is scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
