Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has described a £50 million bid for Victor Osimhen as “peanuts.”
Ferdinand made this remark during an interview with TalkSPORT.
The former England international has consistently emphasized Manchester United’s need for an established goalscorer.
However, Osimhen appears to be nearing a permanent transfer to Galatasaray after agreeing personal terms with the Turkish club.
“I’m like a broken record. If anyone listens to my podcast, I’ve said Osimhen for a while now,” Ferdinand said.
“I’ve seen today that Galatasaray have put a £50m bid in.
“I mean, £50m to get a top-class striker, one of the top strikers in the world, is absolute peanuts in today’s market.”
