She further praised the First Lady’s choice to mark her birthday with children at the correctional centre, calling it a testament to her belief in supporting even the most vulnerable members of society.

Also present at the event were the Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ajayi Bolanle, Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Dawodu, Special Adviser in the Ministry of Women Affairs, Mrs. Lawal Olanbiwoninu, and Permanent Secretary of the Hospital Management Board, Dr. Olayinka Elemide, among others. They all lauded Mrs. Abiodun’s unwavering support for causes aimed at uplifting women and children.

In their goodwill messages, they praised her for her humanitarian efforts and urged the children at the centre to aspire to greatness, assuring them of a safe and supportive environment under the current administration.

In her response, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun thanked the dignitaries for their warm wishes and reiterated her commitment to supporting policies that promote the rights and voices of women and children in Ogun State.

The highlight of the occasion was the donation of food and various gift items by the First Lady to the children at the correctional centre.
