*WORLD RADIO DAY*: Is Radio Still King? AI, Podcast, and the Future of Voice and Trust.

This is the topic of the debate on the importance of radio in our society today, which was hosted by the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ).
Indeed, there were different contributions about the impact of radio as a broadcast tool in our society today and it’s importance, which all the contributors and their contributions faced same direction of thought, depicting the fact that the broadcast tool is still viable and of sustainability in our society till today.
Of course, internet, podcast (being a private tool) will surely have its way soon, but radio will keep on existing even till the latter end. Haven’t we asked ourselves about the origin of radio since the days of our father and it keeps on existing till date, but the origin of podcast, internet just arrived years back but won’t have its way to agitate with the radio whether it like it or not.
Though we can say it’s not a matter of agreement with another speaker’s opinion but looking at the contributions by the Host, it can be deduced that everything he said is all the fact and the impact of Radio in our society, will keep on making us to be important in society.
The impact and contributions of radio as a broadcast tool in our society, is not something that can be shelved aside, never!
