The aspirant expressed gratitude for the support and trust he had received over the years, noting that his political journey had been anchored on service to the people.

According to him, his contributions include provision of educational scholarships, empowerment of artisans, and support for vulnerable groups such as widows and the elderly.

Agesin said his role as Liaison Officer to the Ogun State Governor for Ikenne Local Government provided an opportunity to engage with grassroots challenges and facilitate development.

He recalled joining the APC in 2019 after previously contesting as a candidate under the Social Democratic Party.

” When the time came in 2023 to contest for the Ogun State House of Assembly seat under this great party, I believed that the unity, progress and supremacy of our party must always come before personal ambition, I willingly conceded to our current representatives,” he said.

Agesin said he remained committed to supporting the party and its candidates, stressing that leadership required collaboration and loyalty.

He noted that the constituency required stronger representation to address its growing needs and development priorities.

The APC chieftain pledged to prioritise youth and women empowerment, grassroots accountability and equitable distribution of state resources if elected.

According to him, his agenda also includes ensuring legislative support for local development and alignment with the state government’s programmes.

Agesin called on party members and residents of Ikenne to support his ambition, promising effective and responsive representation.

He urged stakeholders to remain united and committed to the progress of the constituency and Ogun State at large.
