The party members in ward 8, in Orile-Oko community, a political group, known as “Bibire”, Chiefs Baale’s, Market women, Youths and the good people of Orile Oko Remo have backed the governorship ambition of the Senator, representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
They described Yayi as the man who is capable to pilot the affairs of the State, saying that he deserves to succeed governor Dapo Abiodun in 2027.
They also declared support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, promising him massive votes in Orile-Oko community.
It was gathered that large number of party members under the platform of APC in the ward stormed the meeting because of the exemplary leadership style of the president of the political group in Orile-Oko, High Chief Olakunle Olalekan JosephÂ
The President of the group known as Bibire who is also a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, High Chief Olakunle Olalekan disclosed this during a ward meeting held on Wednesday in Orile-Oko.
High Chief Olakunle who is also the Lisa of Orile-Oko community maintained that the group has decided to support Senator Yayi because of his developmental strides not only in his only constituency but the whole Ogun State generally.
The President appreciated Senator Yayi for donating 33kva Transformer and installed in the community.
He said ” Today, as the president of a political group called “Bibire” i want to say, we are fully in support of Senator Yayi to become the next governor of Ogun State. We decided to support him because of his developmental strides, construction of roads, empowering youths, farmers, facilitating laudable projects and some many like that. Since he has become a Senator, he has not disappointed not only his constituents but the people of Ogun State in general. We are so surprised that a Senator who is representing Ogun West Senatorial District can extend his developmental strides to other parts of other senatorial districts in the State. We all can see large numbers here in ward 8, we are Bibire and we are fully in support of Yayi who is our choice to succeed our amiable governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun in 2027. We will try all possible best to work in realizing the governorship ambition of the Senator because we believe if he becomes the next he will perform better snd and if an ordinary Senator can be performing like this so what should we expect if he becomes next governor”Â
High Chief Olakunle called on the residents of the State to rally support for the Senator to become the next Governor of Ogun State.
