Death In The Bedroom: Couple Dies In Mysterious Circumstances

A middle-aged man identified as Eric and his yet-to-be-identified girlfriend were found dead in their new apartment in the Ayeyemi area of Ondo town, Ondo State, on Thursday.

The lifeless bodies of the lovers were found stuck together in a sexual position, indicating that they were having sex before the incident happened. They were said to have been separated by a doctor but they had died.

The Ondo State Police Command has begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the man and his girlfriend. The police noted that the couple was found dead in the room but were not stuck together, and the cause of death is yet to be determined.

Speculations have arisen regarding the cause of death, with sources pointing to a potential electrical mishap. A witness mentioned that a generator was running on the premises, with a phone charging on the bed. It is believed that the couple may have come into contact with a naked wire, leading to the fatal outcome.

The police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident and said an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of death. “We are still investigating the matter, and we will make our findings public once we have concluded our investigation,” she said.

The neighbors of the deceased couple described them as “peaceful and loving,” saying they never had any issues with them. “They were a lovely couple, and we never heard any noise or argument from their apartment,” said one of the neighbors.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many expressing their condolences to the families of the deceased. The police have promised to get to the bottom of the matter and ensure that justice is served.

The bodies of the deceased couple have been deposited at the Ondo State University Teaching Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
