Amotekun Corps Set To Train New Recruits In Ogun

The Ogun State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, has expressed its readiness to train the successful candidates from its recent recruitment process, as part of its efforts to enhance its operational capacity and effectiveness in maintaining law and order in the State.

In a statement issued by the Corps Commander, AI Adedigba,
Brig General (rtd) and obtained by our correspondent said the upcoming training programme which is in line with Amotekun standard practice, is designed to equip the newly recruited personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge for operational efficiency and effective discharge of their duties.

The statement explained that the shortlisted candidates are expected to report for the training exercise scheduled to commence from Sunday, 5th to Saturday, 18th January 2025, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Sagamu by 8:00am

Candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately for this vital training, and arrive on time to facilitate a smooth and organized induction process, as lateness to the camp will result in disciplinary actions. They are also directed to come with the following essential items:

i). Bucket
ii). Broom
iii). Cutlass
iv). 2 pairs of white round-neck T-shirts
v). 2 pairs of white shorts/knickers
vi) 2 pairs of white tennis sneakers
vii). 2 pairs of white socks
viii). 2 pairs of white bedsheets
ix. Writing materials
x). 2 files (containing original & photocopies of credentials)
xi). Bank Verification Number (BVN)
xii). National Identification Number (NIN)

The Corps authority urged them to adhere to the instructions provided and cooperate with the Corps’ officials to ensure a successful training exercise.

The Corps therefore congratulated the successful candidates and appreciate their courage, cooperation and commitment to serving with the Amotekun Corps.
