Our Courses Designed To Meet Yearnings Of Modern-Day Society – Harvarde Provost

The Provost of Harvarde College, Dr. Adebayo Oluwatosin, has announced the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) readiness to conduct another resource inspection at the institution for the accreditation of additional courses at the college.

Dr. Adebayo made this known during a media parley and facilities inspection of the institution, held at the school premises, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

He explained that this new accreditation followes previous inspections since the College received federal government approval to offer National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs.

The Provost hinted that the college has submitted a proposal for a law program and is among the institutions slated for NBTE resource inspection, with the goal of commencing ND in law and eventually HND in law within the next two years.

Dr. Adebayo revealed that the institution programs are designed to meet the needs and yearnings of modern-day society, stating that they’re committed to ensure that their students are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their chosen careers.

While speaking on the institution historical development, Dr. Adebayo said “Harvarde College was established with a vision to provide quality education in Science, Art. Business, and Management”

“This Institution started as study centre of Olabisi Onabanjo University through their consult programme. Today is an approved polytechnic under National Board for Technical Education to run National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes.”

“Harvarde College is known for commitment to academic excellence. Our historical development is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and other stakeholders.”

“We have come a long way since our inception, and I am proud to say that we have maintained a strong focus on our mission to provide quality education and training to our students. Our institution has undergone significant transformations over the years, and we have adapted to the changing needs of our students and the industry.”

The Provost also revealed that the college has invested in modern infrastructure and facilities, soon as the state of the art classrooms, laboratories, studios, newsroom and library.

“Building partnerships with other institutions and organizations to enhance our research and Innovation capabilities.”

“Enhancing capacity building through partnership with industries, trade centre for training of our students.”

“Providing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and expertise.”

According to him “we are committed in using modern teaching aids, technologies, and pedagogy to enhance the learning experience of our students. Our institution is equipped with modern teaching aids and facilities which include, Modern, spacious, air-conditioned classrooms, lecture halls and auditorium”

“E-learning platforms and digital resources Innovative teaching methods and approaches”

“Virtual reality and augmented reality technologies
Standard ICT Centres with about 400 internet based Multimedia Computer systems amongst others.

Dr. Adebayo therefore said that the Institution is committed to all regulatory agencies as specified by the Federal Government, such NBTE, JAMB, ITF, amongst others.
